Scheels Cobber Athletes Of The Week

MOORHEAD, Minn. (12/815)—A pair of sophomore hockey players who helped their teams to the top of the MIAC are this week’s Scheels Cobber Athletes of the Week. In addition to both players earning the Concordia award both were named to the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week.

Men’s hockey goalie Alex Reichle recorded his first career shutout and was one of the catalysts behind the Cobbers’ sweep over previously unbeaten St. Mary’s. Women’s hockey forward Tori Davis scored three of the team’s four goals at St. Mary’s and helped Concordia stay in first place in the MIAC standings.

Scheels is pleased to congratulate the Cobber Athletes of the Week award winners. Each week the Concordia sports information department will choose a deserving Cobber male and female athlete of the week.
