Concordia recorded another record-setting number of fall sports student-athletes who earned MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.

Cameron Bolinske, Gavin Groshelle, Seth Kotzbacher, Edwin Rasidovic, Mason Weninger and Gannon Brooks were named to the Academic All-District Team.

Seniors Cameron Bolinske, Gavin Groshelle, Seth Kotzbacher, Edwin Rasidovic and Mason Weninger, as well as junior Gannon Brooks, were all named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. 

Goalie Jensen Waltz made 13 saves in the Cobbers' game at St. Olaf. He finished third in the MIAC in saves in conference games.

Concordia took a 2-1 lead over Bethel in the first minute of the second half but then conceded four unanswered goals and lost 5-2 to the third-place Royals.

Concordia had one streak end and another continue as they lost 3-1 at Carleton. The Cobbers put a stop to their scoreless streak when Gannon Brooks converted a penalty kick in the second half. The lone score wasn’t enough as Concordia conceded a pair of first-half goals and one late in the second half and lost 3-1.

The goalless drought continued for the Cobbers in their season opener against Dakota Wesleyan. Concordia was able to dominate play in the second half, outshot the Tigers 6-1 and had eight corner kicks in the final 45 minutes but couldn’t find the equalizer and lost 1-0.
