Sophomore Peyton Selle received the final invitational to the NCAA National Outdoor Meet as she was the first alternate for the heptathlon and earned the bid when an athlete chose not to attend.

Jacey Schlosser and Allyson Kangas went 1-2 in the hammer throw to lead Concordia at the Carleton Relays. Both athletes put up personal best marks in the event to help the Cobbers finish fourth in the team standings.

Cayle Hovland competed in her second straight national meet in the shot put. She recorded a distance of 39-11.25 on her second attempt and finished in 18th place.

Concordia had seven student-athletes qualify for the NCAA Division III National Meet it was announced by the NCAA Championships Committee on Sunday. The Cobber men’s team had a program-record six athletes, and a relay, earn a spot at the national meet. Senior Cayle Hovland will be the lone representative at nationals for the women’s team.

It was status quo for Concordia on Day 2 at the MIAC Indoor Championship meet. The Cobbers started the day in seventh place and finished Saturday in seventh place.
