Junior Jenna Kalevik continued her tremendous breakout season as she won the high jump to lead Concordia on Day 1 at the MIAC Championship Meet. The Cobbers only got team points in two different events, but are poised to make a run on Saturday with seven athletes qualifying for the finals in track events.

10 days ago Jenna Kalevik didn’t think she would be competing in her first conference outdoor multi-event in two years. 10 days later Kalevik led the MIAC heptathlon after Day 1, completed the seven events with a Top 5 finish and posted one of the Top 15 heptathlon scores in school history.

The Cobber 4x200-meter relay quartet of Andie Sandman, Emily Rengo, Piper Osborne and Kyle Nygaard led a group of Concordia athletes who competed in a pair of meets in Iowa.

The Concordia SAAC group hosted the 10th annual Golden Cobb Awards which honored Cobber student-athletes, teams and coaches.

Sophomore Kyla Nygaard opened the first full outdoor meet of the year by winning the 400 meters at the Hamline Invitational.

The first spring meet in Minnesota was a success for the Cobbers as they recorded 11 Top 5 finishes, had five program Top 20 marks and nine personal best numbers at the Hamline Invitational in St. Paul.

The Cobber speedsters led the way on Day 1 at the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet. Concordia received 17 of their 26.50 team points on Friday from athletes in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles.
