Cobbers Celebrate Senior Day With A High 5

Concordia celebrated its annual Senior Day with a High 5!. The Cobbers honored lone senior Séan Martin before their match with St. John’s and went out and won five singles matches to secure their fifth straight win.
What's Better Than A 3-Match Win Streak?

Concordia ran its win streak to four matches as they recorded their second straight 1-point victory of the weekend. The Cobbers won four of the six singles matches and beat St. Scholastica 5-4.
Post-Florida Win Streak Continues

Concordia won four of its six singles matches against UMAC opponent Wis.-Superior and rallied to post a 4-3 win. The victory comes on the heels of Cobbers’ 7-2 win over St. Mary’s last weekend, and CC is now 2-0 since returning from Florida for its spring training trip.
Florida Momentum Carries Over To Winona

Concordia used the experience they gained on its spring training trip to roll over St. Mary’s 7-2 in the Cobbers’ first match back in Minnesota. Concordia used the momentum gained from a 6-1 win over Adrian in their final match in Florida to come away with all three doubles wins against the Cardinals and a quartet of single victories.
Weekend Split Earns Youngs First College Victory

Concordia was back in action after a 2-week break and posted a split in its home non-conference/conference weekend doubleheader. The Cobbers beat Bethany Lutheran to give head coach David Youngs his first college win.
Cobbers Open 2025 Schedule

Concordia opened the 2025 portion of its schedule by hosting No.12-ranked Gustavus. The Cobbers took games in all three doubles bouts and five of the six singles matches but couldn’t overcome the perennial MIAC champions and lost 9-0.
Cobbers Finish Off The Fall On The Road

Concordia finished off the fall portion of its schedule by playing a pair of conference road matches. The Cobbers fell 7-2 at St. Olaf on Saturday and then dropped a tight 6-3 decision at Macalester on Sunday.

Former Cobber David Youngs Hired As Men's Tennis Coach

Concordia Athletic Director Rachel Bergeson announced that former Cobber student-athlete David Youngs has been named the new head coach of the men’s tennis program. Youngs played for the Cobbers from 2017-2020.
Winter/Spring Student-Athletes Earn Academic Honors
Concordia had 94 student-athletes from the winter and spring seasons earn MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.
Young Resigns As Head Coach

Nate Young announced his resignation as Concordia men’s tennis coach which will be effective June 24. Young just completed his third season with the Cobbers. In 2024, he guided the team to the most MIAC victories since the 2019 season and the most overall wins since 2020.
Pierce & Sandberg Named CSC Academic All-District

Kai Pierce (Fargo, N.D./Fargo Oak Grove HS) and Logan Sandberg (Grand Forks, N.D./Grand Forks Central HS) capped their sophomore seasons by being named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Season Finale Is As Close As It Gets

The final match of the 2024 season proved to be the closest in recent history for the Cobbers. Concordia and Hamline battled for four hours before the Pipers were able to edge CC at the wire by a 5-4 score.
