Bio

Scott Carter was hired as the interim head coach for the Cobbers in July of 2023. Before being named the interim head coach, Carter was the top assistant for the program for two seasons.

Carter brings a long history of softball coaching experience to the program. Prior to coming to Concordia, Carter was the head coach for the Fargo North softball program for five seasons from 2015-19. During that time, he helped lead the Spartans to four consecutive North Dakota state tournament appearances, and helped turn the team into one of the premiere programs in the state. He was named the EDC Coach of the Year in 2017.

Carter is a native of Lisbon, N.D.
