Softball Camps Set For Winter 2016

MOORHEAD, Minn. (1/12/16)—Concordia head coach Mike Reese announced that the Cobbers will conduct their annual one-day fastpitch softball camp on Saturday, Feb. 13 beginning at 11 a.m. In addition to the individual camp, Concordia is also putting on a one-day high school team camp on Saturday, March 12 beginning at 10 a.m.

Both camps will be held in the Olson Forum on the campus of Concordia College.

The individual skills and drills camp will be from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. Offensive and defensive fundamentals and skills will be taught by Concordia coaches and players. Pitching instruction will be included for those campers who are interested.

Campers should bring a glove, tennis shoes and softball-related equipment. There is a 20 camper minimum. Registrations will be accepted the day of the camp but pre-registration is highly recommended. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with the camp starting at noon.

The team camp will be held in the Olson Forum on Saturday, Mar. 12 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. There will be skills and drills instruction from Concordia coaches and players in the morning followed by live scrimmages in the afternoon.

There is a four team limit to the team camp.
