Trio Of Cobbers Earn MIAC Postseason Honors

MOORHEAD, Minn. (5/10/13)—Paige Beseman, Kaia Sele and Krista Bjork all earned MIAC postseason honors it was announced on Friday. Beseman was the team's lone representative on the MIAC All-Conference Team while Sele earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors and Bjork was the team's representative on the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Beseman earns her first conference postseason honor. She led the team in hitting in conference games with a .400 average. Beseman hit safely in five of the league games she played in. She also had three multiple-hit games against conference opponents. Beseman also had a .933 fielding percentage.

Sele earns her third straight conference postseason award. She was named to the All-MIAC team in 2011 and 2012. Sele led the team in home runs, runs scored and walks against league opponents. She also made only one error in 10 league games and had a team-best .989 fielding percentage. Sele finished her career as the school's all-time leader in home runs and hits.
