Emily Beseman was named the MIAC Player of the Week for helping the Cobbers go 2-0 on the week and averaging 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists against St. Ben's and Bethel.
Concordia scored 10 of the final 12 points against Bethel to rally and record a 65-62 win. The victory is the first for the Cobbers over the Royals since 2016.

Concordia had three first or second-year players earn MIAC postseason honors. Sophomores Mary Sem and Autumn Thompson were named to the MIAC All-Conference Team and Emily Beseman was placed on the All-First-Year Team.
Concordia led after three quarters in their "playoff before the playoffs" game at Hamline but was then outscored 25-16 in the final 10 minutes of play and lost 79-76.
Concordia finally woke up in the fourth quarter against Macalester, outscored the Scots 23-8 in the final 10 minutes of play, and posted a 64-48 win to keep the hopes for a spot in the postseason alive.
Sophomore Autumn Thompson was named the MIAC Player of the Week after averaging 23.0 points, 4.0 3-pointers and 5.0 rebounds in the Cobbers' two overtime wins last week.
Concordia finally prevailed in overtime against St. Olaf in a game that lasted almost three hours and featured 50 fouls, 60 free throws, 16 tie scores and eight lead changes.
Sophomore Mary Sem scored the second-highest point total in a game in program history but it wasn't enough as Concordia lost 72-69 at home against Hamline.
