Frolek Leads Cobbers At NCAA Regional Meet

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (11/11/23)---Junior Drew Frolek led Concordia at the season-ending NCAA North Region Meet.

Frolek posted the highest region finish in her career and helped the Cobbers place 20th in the final team standings.

Frolek covered the 6K course at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis. in 23:58.6. She was the No.86 overall finisher at the meet and the No.31 among all MIAC runners.       

Senior Elsie Hatlevig had the race of her college career. Competing in her first regional meet, she was the team's No.2 finisher at the meet after clocking a 24:16.6. Hatlevig was No.34 among MIAC athletes and placed in the Top 100 in the overall individual standings which had 199 total runners.

Amelia Rowley completed her first college season by running a PR time of 24:19.5. She was right behind Hatlevig among MIAC finishers and three places in the overall standings.

Sophomore Sophia Revoir was the team's No.4 finisher at regionals. She ran a 24:58.3, which is only the second time that she has been under the 25-minute milestone in her career.

Grace Ingebretsen gave Concordia two first-year runners in the Top 5. She clocked a 25:08.8, 46 seconds faster than the time she posted at the same course earlier in the season.

Airial Johnson and Ava Chevalier were the final two members of the Cobbers' region crew. Johnson ran a 25:31.2, which was only 3 seconds off a season best and Chevalier, running in her first region meet, covered the course in 26:31.3, which was only 9 seconds off of a PR time.
