Cobber Swept In Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. (10/07/23)---Concordia was swept (25-17, 30-28, 25-20) in Duluth by St. Scholastica.

The loss is the third straight for the Cobbers, who fall to 11-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The Saints win for the first time in 11 matches and move to 3-14 in all matches and 1-4 in the MIAC.

Both teams had success on offense. Concordia finished the match by hitting .202, compared to .238 for St. Scholastica. The Cobbers had five more kills in the match (40-35), while the Saints had 3.0 total blocks by the team.

Sophomore Mallory Leitner led Concordia with 10 kills. She hit .172 for the match. Brook Carney had seven winners and hit .095.

Hanna Mooney led Concordia with nine digs. Hannah Keil finished with six kills and six digs and senior setter Kaia Lill added 29 assists and six digs.
