Bio

Maddie Herzog becamse the seventh head coach in the history of the Cobber women's golf program in the summer of 2023. 

Herzog played for the Bison for five seasons where she was a Women's Golf Coaches Association of America (WGCA) All-American Scholar in 2022 and was named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence that same season. Herzog finished her career as a 3-time Summit League Academic Honor Roll award winner.

Herzog graduated from NDSU with a degree in Business Administration and Management and is currently working on starting a seal coating business with Herzog Seal Coating.  

Herzog is originally from Detroit Lakes, Minn., where she excelled as a student-athlete at Detroit Lakes HS. She finished in the Top 10 at the Minnesota State High School Tournament in both her junior and senior seasons and was a finalist for Ms. Minnesota golf as a senior. During her senior season, she was captain of the team and won eight tournaments during the year. Herzog was also a member of the Laker's squads that won three state championships.           

Herzog has family ties to Concordia, as her brothers, Josh and Michael, were both standout student-athletes for the Cobber football program.
