Bio

Jennifer Christofferson was hired in the summer of 2011 as the full-time women’s basketball assistant coach. Jen brings a storied playing resume and an experienced coaching background to the program.

Christofferson, formerly Jenny Boll, was an All-American Honorable Mention player at the University of North Dakota during her college career. She was also a two-time All-North Central Region Team honoree and was a three-time North Central All-Conference award winner. In addition to her outstanding career on the court, Boll also excelled in the classroom. She was named a Verizon Academic All-American in her senior season in 2003 and was a two-time Academic All-District First Team award winner.

Christofferson is one of only three players in the history of UND women’s basketball to score over 1,500 points and collect more than 750 rebounds. She finished her four-year career with 1,651 points and 771 rebounds. She is still seventh on the school’s career scoring chart and ninth on the all-time rebounding list.      

Christofferson started her coaching career while she was student teaching in 2003. She was an assistant coach for the girls’ basketball team at Grand Forks Central in her senior year. After graduating in 2003, Christofferson was an assistant coach at Yellow Medicine East High School. From there she went on to be an assistant coach for basketball and track at Cambridge High School for the 2005-06 school year. Christofferson then became the head girls’ basketball coach at Braham High School and was the head coach from 2006-09. Following her stint at Braham, Christofferson moved to Fargo where she became the assistant girls’ basketball coach at Fargo North High School in 2010-11.

Jen lives in Fargo with her husband Josh and three children.
