MOORHEAD, Minn. (9/27/16)—It was all about offense for this week’s Scheels Cobber Athletes of the Week. Chad Johnson and Paige McCullough had recorded career offensive numbers and helped their teams pick up much-need wins to earn this week’s award.

Johnson rushed for a career-high 190 yards and four touchdowns in the Cobber football team’s gritty 46-21 win at Gustavus. McCullough had a hand in five of the six goals the Cobber women’s soccer team, scored during the week, tallied a career-high six points against Northwestern and helped CC win two straight games at the end of the week.

Scheels is once again pleased to sponsor the Cobber Athletes of the Week award.  Each week the Concordia sports information department will choose a deserving Cobber male and female athlete of the week.
