Men’s Basketball

Current Record:
3-2/0-1 MIAC
Weekend Schedule:
- Saturday at Hamline - 3 p.m. | Live Video | Live Stats
Series With Hamline:

- Hamline leads the series 83-60. The teams are 4-4 in the last eight games played.
Story Lines:
- The men’s basketball team opened the conference season with a 79-76 loss at St. John's on Wednesday. The Cobbers took a one-point lead with 3:07 to play but were then outscored 11-7 down the stretch and wound up losing by three
- Concordia has had five different players lead the team in rebounding in the team's five games this season.
- Senior guard Brandon Giese has led the team in scoring in four of the team's five games this year.



Women’s Basketball

Series With Hamline:
- Concordia leads the series 60-5. Concordia is 7-1in the last eight games vs. the Pipers.
Story Lines:
- The women’s basketball team beat St. Benedict 71-60 in the MIAC opener on Wednesday. The Cobbers made six more shots from outside the arc than the Blazers as they beat CSB for the fourth straight time. 
- Concordia was a perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line vs. CSB.
- Senior forward Erin Januschka recorded her first collegiate double-double through a very rare statistical performance. Januschka had double-digit totals in assists and rebounds. She had 10 assists and 10 rebounds in the game. She also had seven points. 



Men’s Hockey

Series With St. Thomas:
- St. Thomas leads the series 82-36-6. Concordia is 8-2-2 vs. UST in the last 12 games.
Story Lines:
- The men’s hockey team is coming off one of their biggest weekends in program history. CC became the first team from the west to win the prestigious Primelink Tournament.
- Freshman goalie Alex Reichle was named the MVP of the Primelink Tournament as well as the MIAC Player of the week. He stopped 62 of the 67 shots he faced in the two games. He is currently third in the MIAC in both goals against average (1.81) and save percentage (.934).
- Sophomore forward Garrett Hendrickson leads the MIAC in scoring with three goals and 10 assists for 13 points.



Women’s Hockey

Weekend Schedule:

Series With St. Thomas:
- St. Thomas leads the series 20-8-5. Concordia is 7-3-1 vs. UST in the last 11 games in the series. The teams have met in the MIAC playoffs in three consecutive seasons.
Story Lines:
- The women’s hockey team is hosting the "Stick It To Cancer" series this weekend when they host #9 St. Thomas. Fans will be able to donate, buy t-shirts and win prizes in the fight against cancer. 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to the American Cancer Society. 
- This weekend's games against the Tommies marks the third series, out of four, this season that Concordia has face a team ranked in the top 10 of the nation. Concordia opened the year by playing at No.6-ranked Wis.-Stevens Point and then traveled to No.7-ranked Gustavus for the MIAC opener. The Gusties have moved up to the fourth spot in the latest USCHO.com poll while the Pointers remain in the No.6 spot.
- The Cobbers split with Bethel in their last action before the Thanksgiving break. Concordia had only scored two goals in their first four games of the year but then netted five against the Royals in the split.



Swimming and Diving
Weekend Schedule:

Story Lines:
- The women’s swimming and diving team will be competing in its first multi-team invitational of the season. The Cobbers opened with four dual meets before the Thanksgiving break. 
- Concordia is coming off a 152-88 loss at Minn.-Morris on Nov. 22. The 88 points scored in the dual meet was the most by CC this year.  
- Cobber sophomore Sarah Nelson won the 100-yard butterfly at the dual meet at Morris. It marked the third straight dual meet she won an event but the first time she came away with a victory in a butterfly competition.



Wrestling

Weekend Schedule:

- Sunday at the MSU Moorhead Dragon Open - 9 a.m. | Live Results
Story Lines:
- The wrestling team posted a pair of dual-meet wins on Wednesday at the Jamestown Triangular. The Cobbers beat host Jamestown 40-3 and then bested the University of Mary 39-12. CC is now 3-0 in dual meets this season.
- Sophomore Justice Davis continues to impress at 285. He won both of his matches on Wednesday and is now 12-4 on the season and has won five of his last six bouts. He was 11-9 in all of last season.
- No.3-ranked Jake Krogstad won his only match on Wednesday and is now 7-4 at 165 on the year. He has not lost to a DIII opponent this year.
