Gravdahl carries on a long line of Cobber players to earn the oldest regional honor. He is the first Concordia player to receive the distinction since current assistant coach Ty Syverson and Austin Ver Steeg claimed the award in 2019.

The Cobbers have now had 10 players in the last 10 seasons earn ABCA All-Region honors.

The award marks the first time the ABCA has been recognized Gravdahl for an All-Region honor. He was also named the MIAC Player of the Year at the end of the conference season and earned his second consecutive All-Conference award.

The 2023 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.

Gravdahl had a career year for Concordia, posting his top totals in hits, runs, RBI, OPS, slugging percentage and doubles. He ended the year by hitting .412 and drove in 34 runs. He had a slugging percentage of .615 and an on-base percentage of .450, giving him an OPS of 1.065.

Gravdahl finished his Cobber career with a .357 career batting average. He compiled 197 hits, 145 runs and 20 triples, which are all program records.
