Gefroh becomes the 18th All-Region award winner for the Cobbers in the past 11 seasons. Concordia has had at least one All-Region honoree in 12 of the past 14 seasons.

Gefroh helped the Cobbers post an 18-16 overall record in 2014. Gefroh also helped finish off head coach Bucky Burgau's 36-year career in style as Concordia beat NCAA Division I University of Minnesota 3-2 in the final game of the season. The 18 overall wins marks the 22nd time in the past 25 seasons that Concordia has won at least 15 games in a season.

Gefroh led the Cobbers in almost every major offensive category. His ascension to the top of the team leaderboard came after playing in only 11 games and having 11 at-bats in his previous three seasons for Concordia.

Gefroh hit .422 for the season. He played in 31 of the team's 34 games and had 102 at-bats. Gefroh's .422 batting average puts him in rare company as a Cobber player. Only seven other players have hit over .420 for an entire season in the past 20 years.

To go along with his sky-high .422 batting average, Gefroh also had a .716 slugging percentage and .469 on-base percentage. He finished the regular season by being ranked 20th in the nation in slugging percentage and 42nd in batting average.

Gefroh also led Concordia with 34 RBI, five home runs, three triples and nine doubles.
