MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/24/23)---A span of 70-seconds determined Concordia's MIAC quarterfinal game against St. Olaf.

The Cobbers came up with the game-tying goal at the start of the third period, but then the Oles posted a pair of goals 1:10 apart midway through the period and came away with a 4-3 win.

Concordia was still reeling when St. Olaf scored the eventual game winner at the 9:32 mark.

The game's intensity would get cranked up to 10 when Mason Plante tipped in a shot from O'Leary with 3:34 left in regulation. Liam Haslam earned the other helper on CC's third goal of the game.

The Cobbers would spend the final 3-minutes of the game inside the St. Olaf end, and would put p a barrage of shots late in the game but couldn't get the game-tying goal.

Concordia nearly tied the game in the final minute of play when Cole O'Connell's came within millimeters from making the score 4-4. O'Connell's shot from the right point hit the very inside of the right post and caromed straight across the goal line and into the corner.
