COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. (02/12/22)---Concordia got its first taste of exclusive Division III competition of the season, and finished second at the St. Benedict Invitational held at St. John's.

The Cobbers were led by the middle distance, distance and throw crews as the trio of groups recorded four event wins and 11 Top 3 finishes.

While the runners and field athletes were coming away with top finishes, a pair of Concordia sprinters put up the only program Top 10 marls on the day.

Peyton Selle and Nicole Lilleberg both put their names in the Cobber all-time Top 10 in the 60-meter hurdles. Selle won the event with a time of 9.53 which is the seventh fastest mark in school history. Lilleberg was third when she crossed the line in 9.59. That mark is No.9 on the school's all-time list.

Both Selle and Lilleberg's times are in the Top 10 of the MIAC this year. Selle is now No.6 and Lilleberg is eighth in the conference.

Selle also posted a third-place finish in the long jump as she continues her training for the MIAC pentathlon later in the month. She came through with a distance of 15-06.25 which is a personal best mark. Lilleberg also recorded a Top 5 finish in the long jump. She was fifth with a distance of 14-05.75.

Both Fredrickson and Frolek's winning times push them into the Top 15 in the MIAC. Fredrickson's season-best time gets her to No.11 in the conference in the 1K and Frolek is eighth in the 800 meters.

Amelia Landsverk was second in the 3K after crossing the line in 11:27.47.
