The Cobbers allowed a goal in each half as they lost for the first time in 2024. The Storm, who advanced to the second round of the national playoffs last year, opened the scoring with 3-minutes left in the opening period and then added a second in the 73rd minute to push their record to 2-0 on the year.
Concordia was outshot 16-5 in total shots for the game and 8-2 in shots on goal. The Storm also held an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.
Senior Chloe Sollom led the CC offense. She put up two shots on the day. Emily Larsen and Amber Weibye had the shots on goals for the Cobbers.
Senior goalie Kaitlin Petrich made her second consecutive start of the season and stopped six shots in the 90-minutes of play.
Concordia will return to the road next weekend when they travel to Lincoln, Neb to face Cornell (Iowa) and Neb. Wesleyan.
