Win Streak Comes To An End In MIAC Opener

Concordia had its 7-game win streak come to an end as they dropped a pair of games against Gustavus in the MIAC opener for both teams. CC lost 2-0 in the first game and was outscored 8-5 in Game 2.

Concordia sophomore Bayleigh Frye (Apple, Valley, Calif.) was named the MIAC Pitcher of the Week for her 4-0 performance on the Cobbers’ spring training trip to Florida. She had a 0.78 ERA during her four games and struck out 21.

Senior Danielle Lyon led the Cobber offense in wins over Rivier and Houghton. She drove in six runs and had four in the two games.
A Perfect Start To The Florida Swing

The start to Concordia’s annual spring training trip to Florida couldn’t have gone much better as the Cobbers posted a pair of 5-inning wins over Rivier (N.H.) and Houghton (N.Y.). Concordia hammered out 19 hits, scored 23 runs and only allowed one run in the opening games in Florida. The Cobbers shut out Rivier 11-0 in the first game and then cruised past Houghton 12-1 in Game 1.

Cobbers Give Seedborg First College Win In Opener

Concordia kicked off its 2025 season by splitting a pair of games against NAIA opponents at the Jamestown Nelson Family Bubble Tournament. The Cobbers opened the year by beating Valley City State 3-1 which earned head coach Annika Seedborg her first collegiate win.
