Cobbers Turn Over The Troll To The Oles

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (11/12/11)-- Concordia turned the ball over six times and lost 49-34 at St. Olaf in the season finale in Northfield.

The Cobbers outgained the Oles 482-374 in total offense but could never overcome the -6 turnover margin in the game and lost by 15.

Concordia quarterback Michael Dunham was 22-for-39 for 276 yards and tossed for a pair of touchdowns. He also ran the ball 13 times for 25 yards. Bronson Shepherd was Dunham's favorite target on the day. Shepherd caught seven passes for 81 yards. Chris Gilson had two catches for 83 yards and had a 73-yard TD catch.

CC junior fullback Brett Baune finished his season with 80 rushing yards  on 12 carries. Luke Gotta had six carries for 53 yards.

The Cobber defense was once again led by the linebacker tandem of Peter Hvidston and Matt Moenkedick. Hvidston had a team-high 10 tackles and Moenkedick added  eight.

Concordia finishes the year 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the MIAC.
