Concordia sophomore offensive lineman Sam Dioszeghy (Mound, Minn./Mound Westonka HS) was named to the D3football.com All-Region 6 Third Team.
Another Dozen MIAC Postseason Award Winners

For the second straight season, Concordia had a dozen players earn MIAC postseason honors. The 2024 contingent was led by first-year offensive lineman Jake Long, who was named the MIAC Rookie of the Year.
Cobbers Cap Season In Winning Style

Concordia closed out its 2024 season in winning fashion as they rallied in the fourth quarter and beat Gustavus 17-13 in the annual MIAC Championship Week game. The victory gives the Cobbers a 7-3 overall record for the year and a 6-2 mark in conference play.

It was business as usual for Concordia in its 38-7 win over Augsburg in Moorhead. Cooper Mattern broke more passing records, Collin Thompson collected more sacks, the Black Shirts held an opponent to only one score and the Cobber special teams came through with more touchdowns.

Concordia scored on six of its first seven possessions against Macalester, put the first 44 points on the board against the Scots and rolled to a 44-7 win.

Concordia used a fast start and a strong finish to cruise past Hamline 41-7. Jed Klang caught two touchdowns, Griffin Babolian rushed for 126 yards and the Black Shirt defense held the Pipers to 55 total yards and one first down in the second half.
