Fredrickson And Frolek Lead Cobbers At NCAA Regional Meet

COLFAX, Wis.  (11/13/21)---Isabel Fredrickson led Concordia in the final meet of her senior season. Fredrickson was one of two Cobbers to finish in the Top 100 at the NCAA North Regional Meet.

Fredrickson finished in 53rd place and helped Concordia place 18th in the final team standings. Fredrickson covered the 6K course at the Whitetail GC in Colfax, Wis. in a time of 23:28.29. She average 6:17.6 a mile and was only 8.21 seconds off of a Top 50 finish.

Freshman Drew Frolek ran a 24:11.07 in her first NCAA Region Meet and was the No.95 finisher out of a race of 226 harriers.

Fredrickson and Frolek were also the Top 2 finishers for the Cobbers at the MIAC Championship Meet on Oct. 30.

Also like the conference meet, Emily Rugloski and freshman Eden Smith crossed the line in the team's Top 5. Rugloski finished with a time of 24:34.44 and was the No.110 finisher, while Smith clocked a 24:43.52 in her first regional meet and was the team's final member of the scoring quintet.

Junior Amelia Landsverk gave Concordia five finishers in the Top 130. She was the fourth member of the team to cross the line. She finished just ahead of Smith with a time of 24:40.11.
