Cobbers Finish Off Road Weekend At Augsburg

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (10/26/24)---Concordia lost 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-19) at Augsburg in the second match of its conference away doubleheader weekend.

The Cobbers' best set of the night came in the second set when they hit .241. Their top kill set came in the third when they put down 12 winners.

Concordia hit .114 for the match and had a total of 25 kills. The Auggies hit at least .200 in all three sets and finished the match with a .294 attack percentage. Augsburg had double-digit kill totals in all three sets and recorded 53 winners for the match.

Sophomore Ashlyn Thompson led Concordia with a career-high five kills. She hit .357 in her 14 total chances. Lauren Bangs added a season-high four kills to the offensive attack.

Betsy Schiltz paced the offense with 20 assists, while Kelsi Martini led the defense with 21 digs.

Concordia will return home to host St. Olaf and St. Benedict next weekend in the final two home matches of the season.
