Nemer & Robinson Earn MIAC Honors

MOORHEAD, Minn. (11/12/19)--- Junior defender Rachel Nemer and freshman midfielder Sophia Robinson were named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team as part of the annual conference postseason awards release.

Robinson was also the team's selection for the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Nemer earns her second straight All-Conference Honorable Mention honor while Robinson is one of just seven first-year players to be placed on the All-Conference or All-Conference Honorable Mention teams this season.  Robinson was also chosen by Concordia as the team's representative on the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Nemer was the team's top defender and best 1 v. 1 defender who was in charge of shutting down the opposing team's best attacker. In addition to her defensive ability, Nemer also finished with four assists on the year and had 10 shots.

Robinson was the team's central midfielder who led the Cobber offensive attack from the middle of the field. Her ability to control the ball and set up the Concordia forwards helped CC score 34 goals on the season. Robinson finished the year with a goal and four assists and had 14 shots.
