ELK RIVER, Minn. (9/29/19)---Concordia shot its second straight team total of 302 and is in sixth place after two days at the Gustavus Twin Cities Classic. The Cobbers had all six of their golfers fire a 78 or better on Sunday at Elk River CC.

Senior Gage Stromme continues to set the pace for Concordia and continues to stalk the overall lead. Stromme backed up his 1-under 71 on Saturday with a 73 on Sunday and is tied for second place with a total of 144 heading into the final round of play.

Mason Opheim used his back 9 momentum from Saturday and posted a 74 on Day 2. He continued to move up the leaderboard though out the afternoon and is now tied for 25th place. He gained 14 places on the day.

Junior Tyler Bossert is the team's No.3 golfer after two days. Bossert, who opened the tournament with a 75, shot a 78 on Sunday and is tied for 32nd place at 153.

Blake Kahlbaugh improved on his Day 1 total by a single shot and is now in a tie for 43rd place at 155 (78-77).

Nate Longtin was the fifth member of the Cobber team this weekend and sits at 158 (80-78) heading into Monday.

Senior Aaron Ryback, who is competing as an individual for the tournament, fired the second lowest round by a CC player on Sunday. He tied Opheim's 74 and is now even with Bossert with a total of 153 (79-74).

Concordia will look to improve on their sixth-place spot in the team standings on Day 3 when they tee off on Monday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. at Minnesota Valley CC.
