Cobbers Close Out National Duals With Two Wins

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (1/11/25)---It took Concordia a full day to get acclimated to the competition at the NWCA National Duals and they responded by finishing off the tournament with two straight wins.

The Cobbers rallied in their opener on Day 2, won five of the last six individual bouts and beat Centenary (N.J.) 25-17. Concordia capped the 2-day wrestling extravaganza by holding off RIT to claim a 21-20 victory.

The two wins were the first two dual-meet victories of the year for the Cobbers who are now 2-3 on the season.

Seniors Ty Bisek and Elijah Hunt were the only two Cobbers to record wins in all four of their matches on the weekend. Bisek had three bonus-point victories while Hunt posted three wins by decision.
