Cobbers Fall To Carleton In Season Opener

Concordia opened the 2013 season on Saturday by losing 9-0 to defending MIAC champion Carleton.

The Cobbers strongest showing came in doubles where the No.1 doubles team of Chelsie McGraw and Taylor Peterson lost 8-2. The No.3 tandem of Kaitlyn Davies and Morgan Sawatzke also lost 8-2.

Davies also won the most games in singles play. Playing at No.5 singles, davies lost 6-1, 6-1.

The Cobbers were supposed to host St. Scholastica on Sunday, Feb. 10 but due to the impending winter stortm, the match has been postponed until Sunday, Feb. 17 at 12 p.m.
