Cobbers Finish Off Tracy Lane Memorial Tournament

BEMIDJI, MINN. (9/12/23)---The Cobbers finished off their second tournament of the season by finishing ninth at the Tracy Lane Memorial Tournament hosted by Bemidji State.

Concordia recorded a team total of 756 (383-373) in the 2-round invitational held at the Bemidji Town & Country Club.

Freshman Addicyn Zimmerman led the Cobbers for the second straight meet. She opened with a 91 on Monday and then posted an 88 on Tuesday. The 88 was the only sub-90 score for Concordia at the meet and is her third score in the 80s this season.

Zimmerman has now played the opening two meets of the year to an average of 86.8. She is the only CC player with an average under 90 this season.

Lillie Kirchner was second on the team at Bemidji. She was the most consistent of the five Cobbers at the meet. She opened with a 92 and was one off that pace with a 93 on Day 2.

Lauren Lamp and Joss Leach were the team's No.3 and No.4 finishers. Lamp had a 100 on Day 1 and went four shots better on Tuesday with a 96. Leach showed the most significant improvement of any CC golfer from Monday to Tuesday. She started slowly with a 105 but then rallied to post a 906 on Day 2.
 
UP NEXT: The Cobbers will head to Hastings, Minn. to participate in the DIII Midwest Classic at Emerald Greens GC on Sept. 16-17.
