Concordia gave up three goals in the third period at Bethel and lost 5-3 in Blaine on Saturday. The Cobbers received goals from three different players in the game but couldn't hold back the Royals in the third period and lost for the first time all season.
Abby Vig, Madison Gendreau and Kit Hollway netted goals for Concordia but in the end it was Bethel's ability to score on the power play that earned the win. The Royals were 3-for-4 on the power play.
THe Cobbers outshot Bethel 33-29 for the game as the teams battled to a split of their two-game series on the weekend.
