Bio

Jon Hedin was hired as the full-time head coach of the Cobber men's soccer program in the winter of 2023, after serving as the interim head coach for the 2022 season.

Hedin has been a mainstay with the program for the past 12 years. He was the top assistant coach for the team for six of the past eight seasons before being named interim head coach. In addition to his coaching tenuer with the Cobbers, Hedin played for Concordia during his college days from 2007-11. 

Hedin has also been a prominent figure in the Fargo-Moorhead club soccer scene where he has been a head coach for the Tri-City organization since his college playing days.

Hedin, originally from Andover, Minn., graduated from Concordia in 2011 while majoring in biology.   

Hedin and his wife Mary-Michael, also a Concordia graduate, live in Fargo with their daughter Alanna.
