Tanner Okeson returned to the Concordia men's hockey program for the 2021-22 season after a storied career for the Cobbers as a player. 

Okeson was a team captain in his senior season in 2019-20. He was a 2-time MIAC All-Conference defenseman for the Cobbers who led by example. In his senior season he played in all 16 conference games and led Cobber blueliners in scoring and was also third on the team in assists. His point total put him in the Top 15 in the league in scoring by a defenseman.

Okeson finished his Cobber career by playing in 106 games and recording 37 assists and 48 points.
