Bio

Maureen Greiner was named the head coach for the Cobber women's golf program in the winter of 2019. 

Greiner was one of the all-time great players in MIAC women's golf history. She won the conference individual championship as a freshman in 2002 and then again as a senior in 2005. Greiner also went on to earn All-American Honorable mention honors and was a 4-time MIAC All-Conference honoree while competing for the University of St. Thomas. She also helped the Tommies win the MIAC team title in all four seasons she competed. 

Greiner graduated from St. Thomas in 2006 with a degree in Legal Studies in Business. In addition to her standout play on the golf course, she was also a member of the Tommie women's hockey team. Greiner finished her career as an 8-time All-MIAC honoree in both sports. On the ice she finished her career with 56 goals and 142 career points which, at the time, ranked third on the UST career list and in the top 20 in MIAC history. As a senior, she was the NCAA Division III statistical champion in assists per game.

Greiner attended Warroad High School where she graduated in 2002. While at Warroad she was an honor student and all-state athlete in hockey, golf and softball. Greiner was inducted into the Warroad Athletic Hall of Fame in the fall of 2009.  

Greiner is also the head coach for the Cobber women's hockey team. 

Greiner, and her husband Doug, live in Sabin with their boys Charlie and George.
