Cobbers Cap Regular Season At Gustavus D3 Classic
HASTINGS, Minn. (9/22/24)---Concordia had its Top 4 players all finish within four shots of one another at the Gustavus D3 Classic held at Emerald Greens GC in Hastings.
Sophomore Addicyn Zimmerman led Concordia for the third straight meet as she was one of two Cobber players to post scores in the 80s on both days. Zimmerman opened with an 89 and was two shots better on Sunday when she carded an 87.
Zimmerman has recorded five straight rounds in the 80s and leads Concordia with a 90.6 scoring average over the team's eight rounds this season.
Junior Lauren Lamp was also in the 80s for both rounds. She opened with an 88 and followed that with an 89 on Day 2. She has posted scores in the 80s in three of her last four rounds and is third on the team in scoring this season with a 93.5 average.
First-year golfer Madi Ramler continues to be in the Top 4 for the Cobbers for the season. She was one shot off of Lamp's total of 177 as she fired a 91 and then improved by four shots to post an 87 on Sunday.
Abbey Hardwick had her best meet of the year. She fired a season-best 88 on Saturday and then came home with a 91 to shoot a total of 179.
Joslynn Leach was the final member of the Cobber scoring team for the weekend. She shot rounds of 92 and 94 and finished at 186.
Concordia will finish off the fall portion of its schedule by playing at the MIAC Championship Meet on Sept. 28-30 at the St. Cloud Country Club.
