Klause Finishes 2nd At Cobber Invite

Moorhead, MN (9/08/2019)---The Concordia College women's golf team finished in third place at the Cobber Invite hosted by Concordia and held at the Moorhead Country Club.

The Cobbers shot a 375 on Sunday, bringing their two-round total to 729. St. Bennedict won the invite with a 674.

Bailey Klause  again led the Cobbers, finishing in second place overall. The junior shot an 86 to finish at 166 just two strokes shy of the invite champion.  Katie Krueger had another solid round shooting a 89 on Sunday, finishing in a tie for 3rd (171). Abbey Frauenholtz  finished 16th overall with a 98 (192) while Katie Froemke  followed with a 102 (200) and 18th place finish.  Jenna Pauly  shot 105 in round two to finish 21st (211). 

UP NEXT: The Cobbers will compete at the DIII Classic on September 14th and 15th, held at Emerald Greens Gold Course in Hastings, MN.
