Cobbs Open Season at St. Ben's Invite

SARTELL, Minn. (8/31/19)---After one round of play in their opening tournament Concordia College women's golf team is in 9th place at the St. Benedict Fall Invitational at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell.

The Cobbers tallied a team score of (361) and trail the 8th place St. Cloud State team by just 6 strokes headed into the final round on Sunday.  

Junior Bailey Klause led the way for the Cobbers, shooting a first round 86 and currently tied for 28th place. Abbey Frauenholtz finished the first round just behind her with an 87 and is tied for 32nd. Senior Katie Krueger also had a solid start in round one and sits in 45th place. 

Concordia will return to Blackberry Ridge Golf Course for round two on Sunday as they look to move up the leaderboard.
