The 2023 Season Is Officially Here

MOORHEAD, Minn. (1/22/23)---Concordia opened the 2023 indoor season by hosting the annual Cobber Open. Senior Solomon Johnson and sophomores Joe Lee and Jordan Petron led the team as they posted event wins at the meet that didn't feature team scores.

Johnson came away with the event win in the 1,000 meters, while Lee outlasted the field in the mile run.

Johnson claimed the 1K title with a time of 2:44.58 which beat teammate Jonathan Krueger by 2.42 seconds.

Lee ran a 4:36.55 in the mile and was over 8-seconds faster than the runner-up in the race. Lee was also second in the 800 with a time 2:06.26.
