MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/04/12)—The Concordia 4x200-meter relay team captured the only event win of the day for CC as they hosted the annual Cobber Duals meet on Saturday. Concordia finished the duals meet with a record of 2-5.

Competing at home for the second straight week to start the season, the Cobbers had eight individual top 10 finishes but were led by the strong showing from Alex Benzegala, Logan Carlson, Ben Vickstrom and John Bye who ran a 1:33.97 in the 4x200-meter relay and won the event by almost a full second. The other field athlete to capture a top 10 finish was junior Erik Olson. Olson posted a height of 13-7.75 in the pole vault and finished in ninth place.
