Kahlbaugh Leads Cobbers at BSU Invite

BEMIDJI, Minn. (9/9/2019)--- Concordia College men's golf team finished in fourth place at Bemidji State Invitational on Tuesday. 

Concordia tallied a team score of 300 on Tuesday to finish at 604 (+28), just two strokes behind Division II Concordia St. Paul who finished in third with a 602. Minot State claimed the title at the invite while host Bemidji State finished second. 

Top Cobber finisher, Blake Kahlbaugh tied for 11th shooting a 76 on Tuesday to bring his two-round total to 149 (+5). Mason Opheim followed with a two-round 150 and tied for 14th in the 54-man field. Nate Longtin  improved six strokes on Tuesday, carding a 73, giving him a two-day total 152. Senior Gage Stromme moved up two spots on the leaderboard to finish in 23rd, while Aaron Ryback rounded out the top five Cobber finshers with a two day total of 157.  

UP NEXT: Concordia will compete at the Minnesota Crookston Kings Walk Invite on September 15 and 16 at Kings Walk Golf Course in Grand Forks, ND.
