Ice Cold Second Half Stops Cobbers In Northfield

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (02/02/22)--- To say Concordia went ice cold in the second half would be a bit of an understatement.

The Cobbers went 0-for-3 from outside the arc, 6-for-22 (27.3%) from the floor and were outrebounded 21-11 in the final 20 minutes of play as a 7-point halftime lead turned into a 69-56 loss at St. Olaf.

Concordia led by as many as nine points in the first half, and was still tied with the Oles at 48-48 midway through the second half, but then a 16-4 run over a span of 5:05 gave St. Olaf a 12-point lead at 64-52 and proved too much to overcome down the stretch.

The loss drops the Cobbers' record to 4-11. CC is now 3-9 in the MIAC. St. Olaf wins for the second straight time and is now 10-9 and 6-8 in league play.
