MOORHEAD, Minn. (5/11/15)—Concordia alumni, family and friends can stay in touch with Cobber Nation by participating in one of the four golf outings this summer.
The Finn/Carol Grinaker Golf Scramble, Clay Nagel Wrestling Golf Tournament, Cobber Baseball Golf Scramble or the Concordia Football Golf Tournament will offer Cobber fans a chance to rekindle old memories and the opportunity to support the Concordia athletics department. In addition to golfing opportunities, there are also options for businesses and individuals to sponsor holes or donate prizes for raffle drawings.
The 30th annual Finn/Carol Grinaker Golf Scramble will be held on Monday, July 6 at the Moorhead Country Club. Registration starts at 11 a.m. with the shotgun start beginning at 12:30 p.m. A dinner and awards presentation will follow at 6 p.m. Cost is $85 per person which includes a round of golf, cart rental and meal.

The 1st annual Clay Nagel Wrestling Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, July 18 at the Meadows Golf Course in Moorhead, Minn. Cobber fans can join former head coach Clay Nagel as well as current head coach Matt Nagel and current members of the Cobber athletic staff as well as former wrestlers for a day of golf to support the Cobber wrestling program. Registration starts at 11 a.m. with the tee off scheduled for a 12 p.m. start. A steak dinner will follow at 6 p.m. with an awards presentation and prize drawing slated for 7:30 p.m. Cost is $100 per person/$400 per group which includes a round of golf, cart rental, dinner, promotional item and entry into prize drawing.

The 2nd annual Cobber Baseball Golf Scramble will be held on Monday, July 27 at the GreyStone Country Club in Sauk Centre, Minn. Cobber fans can join current head coach, and former World Series Champion, Chris Coste as well as Concordia Hall of Fame coach Bucky Burgau and former Minnesota Twins great Frank Quilici for a day of baseball memories. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with the shotgun start beginning at 11 a.m. A meal and prize presentation will follow the golf scrable. Cost is $125 per person which includes a round of golf, cart rental, meal and promotional item. There is a discounted cost of $95 for young Cobber alumni who graduated from 2010-15.
