Bio

Jeff Stoen is one of the newest members of the Cobber staff. He was hired in the summer of 2021 and will help with the Concordia running backs.

Stoen is no stranger to the Cobbers as he played for Concordia during his college years in the late 1970’s and early 80’s. He brings an impressive background in football to the staff, having coached in the high school ranks for over 35 years. Stoen was the head coach at Ada-Borup High School from 1985-97. He then continued coaching for the Cougars as an offensive coordinator and then defensive coordinator until 2016. Stoen was also an assistant coach for the basketball program for 25 years and helped out with the track and field team for 13 years. Stoen started his post-Concordia career as a teacher where he taught in Malta, Mont. For a year before moving to Hazen, N.D. and then teaching at Ada-Borup from 1985-2020.

Stoen lives in Dilworth, Minn. with his wife Pam. They have two children - Román and Svetlana.
