Bio

Jason Montonye returned to Concordia as an assistant coach in the spring of 2018.

Montonye played for the Cobbers from 2014-17 and was a standout running back. He was one of a few backs in Cobber history to rush for over 1,000 yards in a career.

Montonye earned MIAC postseason honors in three seasons for the maroon and gold. He earned MIAC All-Conference honors as a junior and senior and finished his career with 1,288 rushing yards and scored 18 touchdowns. He also recorded over500 receiving yards in his time for the Cobbers.

Montoyne spent the 2018-19 academic year at Minnesota State in Mankato where he started his course work for his master's degree in Athletic Administration.

Montonye will be the fullbacks and tight ends coach for the upcoming season.
