JAMESTOWN, N.D.  (10/12/12)— Concordia had four runners finish in the top 10 and went on to claim the team championship at the Jimmie Invite at the Hillcrest Golf Course on Friday.

The Cobbers finished with a final team score of 35 which was one better than cross-town rival MSU Moorhead who placed second with a total of 36. It is the second time this season that the Cobbers have won a multi-team invite. CC earned top honors at the season-opening Valley City Invite on Aug. 31.

Knickerbocker covered the 5k course in 19:34.00 and placed third while Christian was fourth in a time of 19:55.00. It is the fourth time in five meets this season that the pair has been 1-2 for Concordia. Knickerbocker has now been the team's No.1 runner in all five meets this year.

Paige Rygg and Kathryn Stalnaker also finished in the top 10 for the Cobbers. Rygg ran a 20:03.00 and came across the line in sixth place. Stanaker was in ninth place with a mark of 20:10.00
