Concordia To Host NCAA Tourney Regional!

MOORHEAD, Minn. (11/07/11)-- For the first time in program history Concordia will host the eight-team NCAA Tournament regional. The Cobbers will play UW-Stevens Point in the first round on Friday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m.

There will be four matches on Friday for the quarterfinals of the regional, then two on Saturday and the championship match will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. All seven matches will be held in Memorial Auditorium on the campus of Concordia. (Campus Map)

The other teams in the regional include St. Scholastica, St. Ben's, St. Thomas, UW-Eau Claire, Bethel and Northwestern (Minn.).

Match 1: College of St. Benedict (18-12) vs. St. Scholastica (26-6) - 12:30 P.M.
Match 2: UW-Eau Claire (22-12) vs. University of St. Thomas (29-4) - 3 p.m.
Match 3: Bethel University (22-9) vs. Northwestern (Minn.) (27-6) - 5:30 p.m.
Match 4: UW-Stevens Point (26-7) vs. Concordia-Moorhead (25-3) - 8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 12
Semifinal 1: Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner - 3:30 p.m.
Semifinal 2: Match 3 Winner vs. Match 4 Winner - 6 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 13
Championship: Semifinal 1 Winner vs. Semifinal 2 Winner - 4 p.m.

Ticket Prices
Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $12 for adults, $10 for students and $7 for students and senior citizens on Friday and Saturday and $10 for adults, $7 for students and $4 for students and senior citizens on Sunday. The ticket will allow the holder access to every match on that day.
