Bio

Zach Zitur was hired in the summer of 2018 after spending six straight seasons as a player and coach with the Cobber tennis team.

He was the assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s squads for the past two seasons and before that he was a member of the men’s team from 2013-16.

Zitur helped the Cobbers reach the playoffs in the 2018 season – a feat that hadn’t happened since the 2011 campaign.

Zitur was a member of the men's team’s Top 6 starting players all four seasons while attending Concordia and collected the most singles wins of any player during that span from 2013-16.

Zitur graduated from Concordia in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science.

In addition to his duties as assistant coach for Concordia for the past two seasons Zitur also served as the head boys’ and girls’ head coach at West Fargo HS and coached at the respected Gustavus tennis camps.

Zitur also works as a tennis instructor at Courts Plus in Fargo where the Cobbers play their home matches during the winter months.
