Finally Outside At Home

MOORHEAD, Minn. (4/12/14)—Concordia was finally able to get outside and play a home match. The Cobbers wound up losing 9-0 to St. Catherine in the first match played at the outdoor courts at the Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.

The closes match of the day for Concordia came at No.2 doubles where Brittany Glatt and Morgan Sawatzke lost 8-4. The Cobbers were blanked in the other two doubles bouts.

Sawatzke went on to play the closest singles match of the day as she was the only CC player to win games in both sets. She lost 6-1, 6-1 at No.4 singles.

The Cobbers will hope to continue their outside play when they host St. Olaf on Saturday, Apr. 19 at 1 p.m. Concordia will then play at Bethel and St. Benedict to finish off the 2014 season.
