STORY LINE: Kalli Baarstad's goal at 8:45 of the first overtime period gave Concordia a 3-2 win over St. Mary's in the final game of the 2018 season. The Cobbers held a 2-0 lead at the break but then the Cardinals scored a pair of goals 13:11 apart to force overtime.  

RECORDS: Concordia puts an end to their three-game losing skid and finishes the season with a 7-8-3 overall record and a 3-6-2 mark in the MIAC. The seven overall wins is the most since 2015. St. Mary's ends its year with an 8-10 record in all games and a 2-9-0 mark in league play.

SPECIAL K FINALE: It was a curtain call for the Cobber Special K scoring machine. All three of the Cobbers' goals were netted by a player whose first name begins with the letter K. Kalli Baarstad got the game winner and also had an assist on CC's second goal. Karsen Granning opened the scoring when she found the back of the net at 10:53. Kirsten Bokinskie then doubled the Cobber lead with a goal at the 32:10 mark.

SPECIAL K TOTALS: Concordia's Top 4 scorers on the year all have a first name that starts with "K". Baarstad led the team in scoring with 24 points. Karsen Granning was second with 13 points and was followed by Kirsten Bokinskie with 12 points. Klara Beinhorn finished off the K quartet with seven points.

SETTING THE BAAR HIGH: Kalli Baarstad led the Cobbers in goals and points in 2018. She finished with 10 goals and four assists for 24 points. She is the first double-digit goal scorer for Concordia since Emily Wendorff also had 10 in 2015. Her 24 total points is also the most since Wendorff's 25 in 2016. Baarstad's 24 points are a single-season career high.  

THE YEAR OF THE OFFENSE: Concordia finished the season by scoring 35 goals. That is the most in a single season for a CC team since the 2012 season when the Cobbers scored 45 times on their way to the NCAA Sweet 16.

REED CAPS CAREER: Cobber senior goalie Maddy Reed finished off the season with her seventh overall win. That is a single-season career high for Reed. She ends her career with 17 victories.
