Klause & Krueger Lead Cobbers

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (9/07/18)---Concordia finished off its second tournament of the season by finishing fifth at the Cobber Fall Invite. The Cobbers finished with a 2-day total of 748 which was 23 shots behind fourth-place Macalester.

Bailey Klause and Katie Krueger both had one round in the 80's and finished in a tie at 180. Their final score was good for a tie for 21st in the final individual standings. Klause opened with a 91 and then carded an 89 on Sunday while Krueger shot 88 on Saturday and then posted 92 on Day 2.

Katie Froemke, Alyssa Dalen and Jenna Pauly were the other three members of the Concordia scoring team at the invite. Froemke finished with a total of 192 (95-97) while Dale came home in 197 (99-98) and Pauly carded a 197 (99-98).

The Cobbers will head compete against local colleges next weekend when they head to the Jamestown CC to participate in the Jimme Fall Classic on Sept. 16-17.
