MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/28/18)--- Grace Wolhowe finished off her junior season by being named to the MIAC All-Conference Team. It is the first conference postseason award for Wolhowe.
Senior Cassidy Rahman was the team's selection for the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team for the second straight season.
The two players helped Concordia win four of its final five games and five of the last seven. The late-season surge pushed the Cobbers into a tie for sixth place in the final MIAC standings. CC missed out on the playoffs on the extensive tie-breaking procedure.
Concordia finished the year with an 11-14 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play.
Wolhowe led the team in scoring in conference play. She finished the year with 10.4 points per game scoring average in the Cobbers' 18 MIAC contests. Wolhowe was the only Concordia player to average in double figures. She scored at least 10 points in eight games in conference play and had a career-high 24 points in the Cobbers' win over Carleton on Feb. 10.
Wolhowe averaged a team-high 11.0 points per game in all games in 2018 and scored at least 20 points on three occasions.
Wolhowe also led the team in assists, steals and free throw percentage in league games. She had 58 assists, 19 steals and shot 89.1% from the foul line. Wolhowe was third in the MIAC in assists in conference games and her free throw percentage was fourth best in the league.
